We are thrilled to introduce the Tampa Bay Magazine app for the iPad, allowing readers to explore the Tampa Bay Area. The app brings our magazine to life with innovative features and functionality, including videos, slideshows, audio, 360-degree views, scrolling recipes, as well as the ability to share events with family and friends via email, Facebook and Twitter.

With our Ipad app readers can:

  • Zoom and explore close ups of art in a slideshow
  • Get front-row seats to the fashion section by viewing runway videos
  • Get excited about traveling after viewing video tours of travel destinations
  • Watch how-to cooking videos of fine dining restaurants and many other exciting activities!

Since 1986, the mission at Tampa Bay Magazine has been to entertain and inform readers about the people, places, pleasures and wonders of the Florida's Tampa Bay Area. The editorial features are designed to give the readers what they want, which gives the advertisers the most for their marketing dollars.

Events

We bring interactivity to each section of our magazine. The events section displays monthly events in and around the Tampa Bay Area, including festivals, concerts, musicals, plays and operas. Readers will be able to browse through our user-friendly interactive calendar. They will also have the option to share this event with friends and family with a click of a button, either choosing to e-mail or to share via Facebook or Twitter.

Galleria

Our Ipad app is changing the way our readers view the galleria section in our magazine by adding browser popup windows within the app. The galleria section displays museums, galleries, theaters and attractions in the Tampa Bay Area. The browser popup window enables users to click on a featured galleria website from the list and view this locationa??s website without leaving the app. Now readers have the convenient capability to view websites of galleries and museums within the app.

Art

We offer a whole new level of involvement through interactive browsing features. Readers are able to scroll through a slideshow of an artwork easily and even share their favorite pieces with their friends and family via email, Facebook, and Twitter without leaving the app. A benefit of the app compared to the print magazine is the capability for the reader to zoom in and inspect artworks close up. With our app, you get a chance to experience artwork through electronic media in a completely different way.

Fashion

With our new Ipad app, readers are now able to see fashion runway shows in the Tampa Bay Area without actually being at the event. Experience high-end, prestigious fashion shows from a celebritya??s vantage point a?? the front-row seat a few inches from the runway. Our fashion section contains embedded videos of runway shows, fashion events, up-and-coming fashion boutiques and more. If you always wanted to experience fashion up close and personal, here is your chance.

Home and Garden

Our Ipad app brings innovative features and functionality to our magazine by adding how-to videos for home and garden designs. What better way to be invited into the readera??s home than by giving them design advice and showcasing new designs in the form of a video! The Home and Garden section will also have the option for readers to share images of design ideas and furnishings with their friends and family. With our app, readers are getting one-on-one design tips and ideas straight from the professionals.

Real Estate

We are enhancing our Real Estate section by adding an innovative twist: a 360-degree photo or video display that allows readers to immerse themselves into the featured property. This new feature helps market and promote available real estate in the Tampa Bay Area. Now potential clients, both local and out-of-town, have the option to get more than just a glimpse of properties for sale.

Travel and Leisure

We want the readers to experience the travel section as if they are actually at the featured destination, which is why we have included the option of having video tours of such destinations through our Ipad app. Video tours captivate and excite the reader by providing actual footage of the travel destination. What better way to grab someonea??s attention than by showing them what to expect and what they would be missing if they do not visit!

Dining Guide

Tampa Bay has scores of fabulous restaurants, and we want to showcase this with our cutting-edge technology. Featured restaurants will have how-to videos showing readers how to prepare a specific restaurant dish at home. Also in the works is the customer reviews section for area restaurants, available through an audio feature. By having videos and audio, we are enhancing the readersa?? experience, with the goal of peaking their interest and increasing the chance of their visiting these excellent dining spots in person.

AGE DEMOGRAPHICS
In our study, the largest percentage of respondents, 35%, lie in the age bracket of 36 to 45. 76% of all respondents are between the age of 26 and 55. The median age of the readership is approximately 45.

INCOME DEMOGRAPHICS
92% reported incomes in excess of $50,000. Median income of the readership is estimated at $156,000 per annum. Part of this high figure can be attributed to the fact that over 28% of the sample reported incomes in excess of $250,000.

Volume Discount Plans

The volume discount plans exclusively applies to orders charged at full rate card price. Any adverts booked must be placed in consecutive volumes. If you want to have adverts repeated more than five times, please contact our media consulting department for our best rates.

Premium Placement and Positions

A surcharge of 10% will be added to the listed price. Binding placement or placement options are possible only in agreement with the marketing and media sales department and have to be agreed to in writing.

Agency Discount

We can grant a 15% agency discount from the net sum. Agency discount may be claimed only for direct handling with the agency (order acknowledgement and invoice will go to the agency). Validation of the agency must be provided before this discount is offered. Cover story is generally excluded from agency discount.
